Job Title: Event DJ
Pay Rate: $400 per event
Event Duration: Approximately 6 hours per event (plus an additional hour for setup)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event DJ to deliver an exceptional musical experience at our events. As our Event DJ, you’ll be responsible for setting the mood, engaging the audience, and ensuring smooth transitions between different segments of the event.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at least one hour before the event to set up and perform sound checks.
- Play music and manage playlists to suit the event’s atmosphere and client preferences.
- Transition smoothly between different segments of the event.
- Engage with the audience to maintain high energy and a positive atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the event coordinator to ensure all technical and musical needs are met.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues quickly to minimize disruptions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Event DJ, preferably in a variety of event settings.
- Excellent knowledge of music genres and crowd-pleasing tracks.
- Proficiency in managing audio equipment and resolving technical issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and professional.
- Must arrive early for setup and sound checks.
- Clean background check required.
